Meet Tony Owings

Tony Owings embarked on a fulfilling financial planning career in 1994, marking the beginning of a journey dedicated to managing assets and cultivating client relationships. The journey started at A.G. Edwards and Sons in Sacramento, CA, where Tony gained invaluable experience in the intricacies of financial planning.

In the year 2000, a significant chapter unfolded as Tony and his family relocated to Minneapolis, MN, bringing them closer to his wife's family. During this period, Tony took on the role of an independent financial adviser at Raymond James Financial Services. It was at Raymond James that Tony honed his financial planning skills and achieved the CFP® designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

​In 2008, a return to California marked the establishment of Tony's practice in the Rocklin/Roseville communities. With a commitment to assisting individuals navigating divorce, Tony earned the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst credentials, providing needed guidance on the financial implications of crucial decisions during challenging times.

Beyond the professional realm, Tony is an active and engaged member of various professional and community organizations. He is a proud member and twice past president of the Rotary Club of South Placer, reflecting his commitment to community service. Additionally, Tony has contributed as a past president of the South Placer Estate Planning Council and is associated with esteemed groups such as the Northern California Financial Planning Association, The Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts, the Financial Securities Institute, The Sacramento Divorce Collaborative Practice Group, and the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce.

​In his leisure time, Tony finds joy in various pursuits. Whether it's relishing moments at the family Tahoe Donner retreat, enjoying a round of golf, hitting the slopes for skiing, showcasing culinary skills in the kitchen, or strumming chords on the guitar, Tony embraces a well-rounded life. He resides in Roseville with his wife Kari, daughter Binbin, along with their family dog, Bella.​Tony continues to make a positive impact in both professional and personal spheres, embodying a commitment to financial well-being, community service, and a rich, balanced life.
